Objective: To get the two pieces of wood separated, without using any force, then put them back as they are in the picture.
Description: The Wooden Cross puzzle is another one that is sometimes referred to as a "payback" puzzle, (something one would give to another to 'return' a favor of undelight). Once in hand, it is hard to put down and can therefore eat up a lot of time, (great for long trips). This puzzle will have you scratching your head more than once. There are no external moving parts that can be seen and therefore will require a good imagination.
Each puzzle is supplied with an "Objective Sheet" that explains what it is that you are supposed to do. This sheet also includes a picture/drawing of the puzzle in the unsolved condition, (similar to the one at the top of this page), so there is a reference to look at when putting it back together.
Puzzle solutions are also included with the shipment but are not sealed in the puzzle wrapper. This is done so that the purchaser can make the decision as to when to give the solution to the person that is receiving the puzzle, (as a gift, for example).
