Objective: To remove the floating bead without using any force... then put it back on to where it is in the picture.
Description: Although the objective is to remove the floating ring, other steps have to be taken before you even get to the ring... (do you know what these steps are?).
Although simplistic in design, this puzzle is more difficult than you may originally think.
The Stair Step Puzzle is a similar puzzle to the 3 Ring Ladder Puzzle. Both have the same solutions, but the Stairstep puzzle is easier to carry with you while the other is better left sitting on a table, desk or mantle.

Each puzzle is supplied with an "Objective Sheet" that explains what it is that you are supposed to do. This sheet also includes a picture/drawing of the puzzle in the unsolved condition, (similar to the one at the top of this page), so there is a reference to look at when putting it back together.

Puzzle solutions are also included with the shipment but are not sealed in the puzzle wrapper. This is done so that the purchaser can make the decision as to when to give the solution to the person that is receiving the puzzle, (as a gift, for example).
